Requirements
- Experience in energy storage research, from an experimental (electrochemistry, materials synthesis, or characterization) or computational simulations perspective, is required.
- Proficiency in Python programming is required.
- Master’s (predoctoral) or PhD (postdoctoral) in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related area is required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data management strategies to support research activities across multiple institutions.
- Collaborate with researchers to establish data management tools and workflows.
- Work closely with ESRA management and PIs to establish data sharing and accessibility protocols and tools.
- Provide training and support to researchers on data management tools and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data management technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with REST APIs is desirable.
- Coursework in computer science or data science is desirable.
- Familiarity with research data management tools (examples include: Git/GitHub, Pandas, Globus, Docker, Dryad, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Milvus) is desirable.
