Responsibilities
- Study transcription and/or post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms in *B. subtilis* and *E. coli*
- Explore fundamental mechanisms that control RNA polymerase pausing and termination
- Regulate gene expression by transcription attenuation and translational control mechanisms
- Conduct structural studies of RNA polymerase using cryo-EM
- Identify novel RNA-based regulatory mechanisms using RNET-seq, Term-seq, and Structure-seq
