Requirements
- 5–8 years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales role in the fintech, POS, or payment processing industry.
- Proficiency with POS systems, payment processing flows, API integrations, and enterprise solution design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Adept at preparing and delivering high-impact technical presentations and demos.
- Skilled with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), demo environments, and proposal platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and Deliver Technical Solutions: Work directly with sales and product teams to identify client needs and craft scalable, customer-centric POS solutions that meet their operational and business objectives.
- Lead Product Demonstrations: Execute advanced product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to customer use cases, highlighting the value proposition.
- Support RFPs and Proposals: Participate in and lead the technical response to RFPs, RFIs, and customer proposals, ensuring clarity and alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Market and Competitive Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies within the payments and POS ecosystem; share insights to guide solution strategy.
- Pre-Sales Collaboration: Act as a strategic advisor to the Sales team, translating customer requirements into detailed solution blueprints and supporting sales conversations with deep technical expertise.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product Management, Implementation, and Customer Support teams to ensure solution feasibility and smooth post-sales transitions.
- Customer Engagements: Engage directly with customers—both onsite and virtually—to gather feedback, facilitate discovery workshops, and guide solution architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in pre-sales methodologies or POS systems is a plus (e.g., Certified Solutions Engineer, PMP, ITIL).
