Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Portfolio, Project Management, Process Improvement.
- Has expertise in leading iterative and agile initiatives; PMP and SAFe designation would be an asset.
- Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication; able to optimally articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes to technical and non-technical audience
- Experience in process improvement initiatives, with a focus on driving operational efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Portfolio Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies, especially Agile and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage partners at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Products.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage internal portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with team goals and objectives.
- Support scoping and planning of upcoming initiatives and road mapping as well as quarterly planning.
- Monitor progress, budgets, timelines, and deliverables, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Identify and mitigate risks across the portfolio, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Support internal processes from estimations to closure.
- Support internal process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing standard methodologies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement process improvement plans, tracking progress and measuring impact.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for portfolio-related inquiries, managing stakeholder expectations and requirements.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews with partners to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Lead and guide project teams, promoting a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP and SAFe designation would be an asset.
