Requirements
- Use SAP, SalesForce.com, QuoteWin and Silicon Expert tools to manage and distribute data
- Familiar with materials and manufacturers of electronic components
- Skill to improve business processes
Responsibilities
- Review and manage customer documentation for the quote process for quick and quoting material pricing and labor routing
- Manage SAP receipt of customer documentation
- Identify gaps/errors in customer RFQ documentation packages
- Communicate issues/status to appropriate KEI team to ensure all understand what is needed to begin material quote
- Develop the most efficient and cost-effective labor routing needed to manufacture assemblies
- Support plant and global quoting efforts
- Learn KEJ systems and controls by reviewing existing applicable processes, SOPs, quality systems and other relevant instructions
- Demonstrate a general understanding of configuration management strategy and application
- Demonstrate ability to navigate main transactions in SAP, Salesforce, QuoteWin and Silicon Expert including those necessary develop quote data
- Work with others on the team while learning how to help handle customer data and interface with project teams
- Competently apply Kimball’s methods for developing quote data for material and labor quoting
- Provide feedback to business development managers on quote data needs promptly
- Provide monthly report out of accomplishments
- Work with business development and customer resolve all issues with quote data
- Work with other disciplines within KEI to quote new business opportunities
- Directly support enhancements and development of relevant business tools and systems
