Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 0-3 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting concepts and theories used in the manufacturing and business environments
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadline requirements
- Inventory understanding
- Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels within the organization
- Proven proficiency in the use of MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel as necessary
Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation of accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reports.
- Work cross-functionally across Texture & Healthful Solutions’ plants and monitor trends to prepare monthly forecasts and periodic budgets over plant specific spending, including depreciation and permit spending.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure internal control policies are being followed.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual Sarbanes-Oxley testing. Work with internal and external audit teams providing requested documentation pertaining to related work.
- Ensure Business Process Procedures (BPP’s) are written and current for all job functions and that they comply with internal control policies.
- Post and/or review activity at toll manufacturing sites to ensure production and consumption is properly reported. Accrue tolling fees as necessary, summarize activity, analyze monthly variances and develop standard costs for tolled products.
- Perform analyses for T&H Plants to proactively identify and communicate yield and production reporting issues.
- Perform analyses on T&H various spending accounts to proactively identify and communicate spending issues.
- Willing and available to work on special projects focused on accounting, financial analysis, financial forecasting, financial reporting and tolling (operational efficiency/standardization of processes) as required.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships across all units and functional managers for Indy COE Plants responsible to ensure accurate and timely reporting of plant performance.
