Requirements
- Strong C++ knowledge and excellent math skills
- Passion for physics and making physics work in the game world
- Experience implementing new systems
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with real-time simulation systems
- Experience with the implementation of simulation or physics systems in a game engine; including core algorithms, performance optimization, behavior, etc
- Experience working with other game physics engines such as Havok, PhysX, Bullet, etc
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain new physics interfaces within the Unreal Engine’s ecosystem
- Focus on the creation of gameplay API’s and accessibility of physically based systems within UEFN
- Maintain the existing physics engine and its integration into the Unreal Engine
- Be forward-thinking with keeping up to date on current techniques, research, graphics data, hardware, etc
