Requirements
- M.S. in physics, medical physics or related field and at least three years of clinical radiation oncology physics working experience required for the staff medical physicist, or a Ph.D. in basic physics or medical physics.
- New York State Licensed medical physicist or New York State License eligible
- ABR certified
Responsibilities
- Actively involved with the Gamma Knife Icon unit
- Participate in standard radiation therapy physics activities: machine calibrations, equipment QA, treatment planning activities, dosimetry measurements, calculations, brachytherapy, radiation safety and some teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience in Radiation Oncology Physics
- Experience with Gamma Knife
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse, Brainlab and IGRT
