Requirements
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Niche interest in surgical sports medicine is required, sports medicine fellowship training and board certification or eligibility is preferred but not required
- MD., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
- Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required
- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty
- Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program
- Must be board certified or board eligible
