Physician or Physician Scientist – Cardiovascular Medicine – Director – Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant – Open Rank/Track Faculty

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified
• Successful completion of a US accredited cardiology fellowship
• Eligible for an Ohio License
• Clinical or Translational Research experience preferred
• Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in both clinical care and research initiatives
• Lead the Division’s high-performing heart failure and cardiac transplant team
• Expand outpatient and inpatient services at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
• Advance heart failure research
• Mentor junior faculty and trainees

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical or Translational Research experience preferred
