Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families
- Ability to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care
- Must be able to perform procedures or willing to learn: central lines and intubations
- ACLS/BLS required
Responsibilities
- Work a schedule of 7 on and 7 off
- Manage a typical inpatient volume of 16 – 18 patients per day on days
- Respond to code blue and rapid response teams
- Perform procedures such as central lines and intubations
- Work in a limited ICU setting with all admissions requiring Pulmonary/Critical Care Consult
