Requirements
- MD/DO
- BC/BE Neurology
- BC/BE Epilepsy
- Michigan Medical License and DEA (or ability to obtain)
- Required Doctorate
- LIC-Physician (MD) – STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) – STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-DEA Registration – STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
Responsibilities
- Evaluations of pre-surgical and diagnostics of EMU patients
- Directing of pre-surgical evaluation
- Participation in epilepsy surgery conference
- Post-surgical follow up, including programming of RNS, DBS, and VNS
- New evaluations and follow up of patients in clinic
- Rotation on all EEG services
- Active participation in teaching of residents, fellows and medical students
