Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in physical security management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within a global enterprise.
- Demonstrated experience managing security guard operations, access control systems, and global security vendors.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies, such as CCTV, access control platforms, intrusion detection systems, and integrated security systems.
- Proven ability to perform risk assessments, audits, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with global regulatory standards and security compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners globally.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Manage the global physical security operations, including guard forces, electronic security systems, and incident response protocols.
- Oversee access control system installation, maintenance, and operations to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
- Select, manage, and evaluate security vendors and contractors worldwide, ensuring quality services, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update global physical security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with corporate risk management frameworks.
- Conduct regular physical security assessments and audits globally, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Develop and manage global incident response protocols for physical security incidents, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to effectively address threats.
- Prepare, manage, and control budgets related to global physical security initiatives, ensuring financial efficiency and transparency.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees and security personnel related to physical security measures and policies.
- Set and enforce guarding standards, including post orders, uniforms, training, and conduct.
- Own the end-to-end contract management of guarding services across multiple locations, including vendor selection, onboarding, performance monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PSP, CPP, or other ASIS International certifications).
- Experience managing global or multi-regional security programs.
- Experience with access control management software: Genetec & Lenel.
- Experience using critical event management and threat intelligence tools (e.g. Everbridge, Crisis24, Seerist, ISOS).
