Requirements
- Licensed as a pharmacy technician or assistant
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Assist in order entry tasks and medication dispensing processes
- Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Refill orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare backup pharmacy orders
- Comply with a process that addresses all state and federal guidelines regarding medication labeling
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
