Requirements
- Doctor in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
- 2-3 years Acute care hospital experience required
- RPH – Registered Pharmacist Current State Pharmacist Licensure required
- Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to address issues in a tactful and timely manner with all customer groups
- Concentration and attention to detail – often under time constraints
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high clinical quality and business appropriateness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance and is able to manage multiple projects
- Mature, credible, reliable, tolerant, and determined

Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Ensure the safe and effective use of medications through the development and implementation of clinical protocols, policies, and procedures
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and provide consultative support
- Monitor medication use and outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and therapeutic efficacy
- Provide ongoing education and training for pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards
- Manage daily pharmacy operations, including inventory management, medication dispensing, and adherence to state and federal regulations
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical interventions, medication management activities, and staff performance
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of pharmacy services, including new initiatives and technology integration
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years Supervisory experience preferred
