Requirements
- A Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Successful completion of the state pharmacy board examination.
- A current and valid pharmacist license in good standing.
- Compliance with all continuing education requirements.
- A minimum of one year of experience in the practice of pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
- Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.
- Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in pharmacy management
- One year of experience working with patient management programs
