Requirements
- B.A. or M.A. in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience focused on the US economy in a financial institution, central bank or think tank.
- Hands-on experience with macroeconomic and financial data.
- Strong econometric, data management and programming skills (e.g., Haver, Macrobond, Stata, Eviews, Python).
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Capacity to work well both independently and as a team member.
Responsibilities
- Tracking economic and political developments to help develop and refine our US economic outlook.
- Developing access to new data sets and supporting the analysis.
- Further developing macroeconomic and financial databases and automating related chart books.
- Supporting the research and other analytical work of regional economists on the team.
