Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in personal lines account management
- Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license (to be obtained within 60 days of employment)
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems (Epic preferred)
- Thorough understanding of clients’ insurance objectives
- Critical analysis skills to compare insurance plans for suitability
Responsibilities
- Managing a book of personal lines insurance business focused on mid-market accounts
- Preparing annual review reports and conducting client meetings to review the insurance program
- Working closely with a sales producer and other team members on client service, marketing, and renewals
- Acting as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers
- Resolving service issues, negotiating with underwriters, and troubleshooting claims and billing issues
- Developing new business from existing accounts and assigned leads
- Exploring cross-selling opportunities when appropriate
