Responsibilities

  • Motivating and engaging store leadership behind resource planning strategies and changes through strong relationships and ability to influence.
  • Integrating store specific plans with resource planning strategies to plan timely, consistent, and flexible schedules to support the employee and customer experience.
  • Driving timeliness, accuracy, and consistency with resource planning strategies across several locations.
  • Partnering with Store Leaders to advise on how current hours allocation, local payroll laws, time away, availability, traffic analysis, and store strategies impact scheduling performance and identify solutions.
  • Analyzing data related to workforce management to provide recommendations to store leadership and cross-functional partners to improve resourcing trends and scheduling opportunities.
  • Partnering with members of the team to review completed schedules for alignment with store specific plan and current resource planning strategies.
  • Maintaining subject matter expertise and proficiency of the current scheduling systems.
  • Attending and participating in Global Retail Support (GRS) communication regarding system enhancements, scheduling updates and training.
  • Compliance adherence to scheduling rules, store policies and procedures across markets and countries where applicable
  • Coordination of weekly schedule completion, delivery, and communication across multiple stores.
  • Demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to perform multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify scheduling trends and make adjustments accordingly.
  • Skilled ability to influence others without a direct reporting relationship.
  • Proven track record in prioritizing, planning, and executing strategies.
  • Agile, comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, time critical environment, while coordinating multiple in-flight projects.
  • Self-motivated, driven individual comfortable in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical expertise in resource planning systems, platforms, and workforce optimization or a related area experience preferred.
  • Prior Apple Retail experience or knowledge of the Apple Retail organization preferred.
