Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute a high volume of end to end onboarding processes for new hires, including pre-employment background checks, new hire paperwork, i-9 verification, and orientation sessions
  • Manage transactions in our HR system, including adding new hire profiles, employee status updates, and terminations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding journey, managing start date tracking and ensuring a smooth transition to the company
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure new hires have system access setup
  • Prepare and distribute employee onboarding materials including handbooks and policy documents
  • Maintain employee and company records, including employee files and org charts
  • Draft employment verification letters for current employees
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements (wage rate notices, labor law posters, setting up new hire and annual harassment training, etc)
  • Help with immigration processes and documentation for candidates and existing employees
  • Assist in managing company swag, including organizing the distribution of items for new hires, birthdays, and anniversaries
  • Coordinate employee recognition efforts such as anniversary and birthday gift-giving
  • Help plan and schedule company social events, and assist teams and managers with ad-hoc requests, including coordinating team-specific events
  • Support other HR-related projects across administration, compliance, employee experience, and organizational culture
  • Contribute to fostering a strong, positive company culture through employee engagement and other internal initiatives
