Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification is mandatory.
- 8+ years of experience working with Pega platforms, including at least 3 years in a lead architect role.
- Hands-on experience with Pega CDH, including strategy design, AI models, and NBA/NBO implementations.
- Proven experience deploying and supporting Pega Marketing projects in secure environments.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, etc.).
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and containerization (e.g., EKS, Docker) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of enterprise DevOps practices and automation tooling.
- Prior experience working with or supporting U.S. government clients.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the design as well as development of scalable Pega applications, with a focus on Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) and Pega Marketing.
- Design and deploy Pega infrastructure on AWS, including autoscaling, HA/DR strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and execute on-premises deployments of Pega releases, patches, and hotfixes in secure government environments.
- Lead technical solutioning efforts, architecture reviews, and design workshops with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues across the full stack—infra, platform, and app layer.
- Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in Pega design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Implement and oversee integrations with external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), Kafka, and SSO frameworks.
- Drive performance tuning, optimization, and proactive monitoring of Pega environments.
- Ensure adherence to federal security and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53).
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Public Trust or higher clearance.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, and agency-specific security frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch).
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience and comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments.
- Experience integrating with Salesforce, Adobe, or third-party marketing platforms is a plus.
