Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Nursing students: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN
- Assist with keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). If you do not hold this certification, you must obtain it during your new hire period
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
