Responsibilities
- Develop payments and financial services strategies and analysis for eBay to differentiate itself in the market
- Help create a three-to-five-year plan on payments funding mix and pricing strategy initiatives
- Create cases for transaction expense optimization initiatives
- Provide assistance to the finance team on budget submissions and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Build and improve areas for comprehensive tracking and monitoring mechanisms for new business initiatives
- Keep a tab on key payments and financial services industry trends
- Support and contribute to the payments and financial services three- to five-year strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven leader with at least 8 years of work experience – preferably 2-3 years at a top strategy consulting firm with strategy and analytical focus
- Minimum 5+ years experience working in payments or financial services
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required; Masters or equivalent preferred
- Expertise e-commerce and payments strategy is highly desirable
