Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the online/mobile payments industry or a relevant fintech company
- In-depth familiarity with card schemes and card payment terminology, along with a strong understanding of payment systems, technologies, and industry best practices
- Ability to provide data-driven financial insights and solve complex challenges
- Strong presentation, problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience with payment operations in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Analyze and streamline payment processing workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage the ongoing operations of all payment processors and alternate payment method relationships
- Have a deep understanding of how card payments work, including the roles of various players in the payment world
- Manage relationships with payment providers, including negotiating terms and services
- Detect and escalate payment-related problems and complex issues, while taking ownership of the resolution process
- Ensure all payment operations comply with industry regulations and standards
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and analyze payment trends, identify anomalies, and recommend strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product, Compliance, Legal, and Finance, to ensure seamless and flawless operation of payment processing systems and technologies
