Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MUST SHOW A VALID AND ACTIVE CCHT ON THE NNCC WEBSITE
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
- An Ohio Certified Dialysis Technician certification is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track
- Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care
- Provide PCT coverage for situations like new dialysis den launches, increased patient census, PTO/ Leave of Absence coverage that is over 1 week in duration, or covering after a teammate’s termination
- Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment
- Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting
- Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
