Requirements
- Must be in school for nursing or the health care field
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS CPR certificate
- Finished STNA, CNA, or Patient Care Technician/Assistant training
- Helped care for patients in the past 5 years
- Currently in nursing school and finished one clinical rotation
Responsibilities
- Check things like temperature, heartbeat, and breathing
- Help patients move around, get dressed, and eat
- Collect samples like blood or urine
- Clean and change bandages
- Report any changes in a patient’s condition to a nurse
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to handle doing many things simultaneously
- Basic computer skills
- Good at organizing things
- Good at talking and listening well to others
- Bonus points: Worked in a hospital before
