Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1 year of customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative coverage at the front desk of the HIV and STD Clinic
  • Monitor the clinic appointment line to include scheduling appointments for clients from outside medical, hospital, correction systems
  • Answer multiline telephones
  • Take payments from clients for clinical services
  • Complete client registration and documentation
  • Schedule interpreters for clients
  • Retrieve billing charges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred
  • Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred
