Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- 6 months to 1-year previous hospital or doctor’s office experience preferred.
- Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in high volume, fast paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and PC skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the Emergency Department and Labor and Delivery patients by obtaining the financial information pertinent to reimbursement and statistical data.
- Ensure daily operations of the department.
- Demonstrate Superior Customer Service.
- Registrar Patients in accordance with department procedures and collect patient responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and dignity.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months to 1-year previous hospital or doctor’s office experience preferred.
