Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience administering digital pathology or imaging platforms, preferably Indica Labs HALO but any similar pathology image platform is acceptable.
- Solid understanding of pathology slide image generation workflows and clinician data access protocols.
- Demonstrated experience in assisting non-technical clinical users, with strong communication and training skills.
- Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting complex imaging systems in a clinical or research environment.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues related to platform deployment, user access, and data annotation.
- Strong documentation skills to capture system configurations, user guides, and training materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for NCI users, providing comprehensive support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation to help non-technical clinicians efficiently transfer, locate, access, and annotate pathology data using HALO.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to streamline workflows related to pathology slide image generation, processing, access, and interpretation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement integration solutions that support clinical image analysis and reporting.
- Participate in detailed design discussions and requirements sessions to continuously enhance the HALO platform’s utility for users based on their feedback.
- Advise on strategic technical directions to improve platform usability and integration capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with the Indica Labs HALO platform, including any customization or advanced configuration.
- Exposure to best practices in digital pathology data management and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python) for potential automation of routine administrative tasks.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and a proactive approach to adopting new features and tools.
- Experience integrating hospital Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) into image processing and digital pathology workflows.
- Experience in the integration of hospital PACS with HALO, ensuring seamless data exchange and compatibility with existing image processing workflows.
