Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, developer relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading complex negotiations, driving strategic partnerships, and scaling impactful collaborations.
  • Extensive experience with developer-focused partner API integrations, including familiarity with SDKs and developer tooling.
  • Experience with partner API integrations and a demonstrated ability to discuss and navigate complex technical integrations with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings, proactively identifying opportunities and challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy.
  • Cultivate deep, cross-functional relationships with key Tier 1 partners, influencing across diverse teams to drive outcomes.
  • Lead complex negotiations to establish dynamic, highly strategic, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to our Tier 1 partners, proactively addressing developer-focused integration opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify new opportunities and drive seamless implementation.
  • Synthesize and prioritize partner feedback to shape product initiatives that align with both partner needs and Strava’s business objectives.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to craft impactful go-to-market campaigns for new features or integration milestones.
  • Monitor and resolve issues with partner integrations, assessing and escalating as needed with clarity and precision.
