Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong academic credentials and 3+ years of financial services or consulting experience; familiarity with asset-backed financial products, legal contracts, debt origination, and securitized/structured products a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity, strong analytical ability, and financial acumen
  • Proactive problem-solver that is eager to learn and take on responsibility; self-motivated with ability to prioritize time efficiently and operate with modest oversight on small deal teams (2-3 professionals)
  • Possesses strong organizational & project management skills, work ethic, and sense of urgency; results-orientated without compromising control and detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp critical details of evolving transactions and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication & listening skills

Responsibilities

  • Creating pitches, term sheets, and other marketing materials
  • Collaborate with senior Partner Development team members on structuring and documentation for proposed transactions
  • As part of the deal team, support all aspects of transaction management with external clients/lenders/investors, legal counsel, and other parties
  • Play a primary role in presenting transactions to senior management and other stakeholders for approval
  • Stay up to date on the firm’s policies and procedures to ensure appropriate protocols are implemented and followed; facilitate & represent the deal team in internal discussions, and governance processes
  • Coordinate with Treasury and enterprise solutions teams to establish support infrastructure, onboard, or modify executed funding arrangements; participate in asset allocation optimization efforts
  • Monitor existing portfolio of transactions, including periodic reporting and other quantitative analytics
  • Negotiation, structuring, and execution of amendments and other facility modifications
  • Respond in a timely manner to ad-hoc requests regarding ATLAS SP’s financial metrics, growth initiatives, and other materials for senior management, lenders, or investors
