Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of complex civil litigation paralegal experience (Preferred)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • American Bar Association (ABA) Paralegal Certificate (Preferred)
  • Project Management Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with attorneys to provide support on the management of litigation, disputes, and investigations from inception to final resolution.
  • Conduct, summarize, and analyze complex research, including gathering facts, researching, and analyzing applicable laws, regulations, and case laws, under appropriate attorney supervision and guidance.
  • Assist with all aspects of discovery, including litigation holds, as well as assisting with document/information identification, collection, and production.
  • Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders, including legal and business partners.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize case-related documents and records.
  • File management, intake of new matters, establish and manage electronic matter management systems, and maintain files in accordance with records retention requirements.
  • Proactively identify, summarize, and monitor relevant issues, cases, and legislation, as well as updating attorney with recommendations, as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.
