Requirements
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- 5+ years of complex civil litigation paralegal experience (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- American Bar Association (ABA) Paralegal Certificate (Preferred)
- Project Management Certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Work closely with attorneys to provide support on the management of litigation, disputes, and investigations from inception to final resolution.
- Conduct, summarize, and analyze complex research, including gathering facts, researching, and analyzing applicable laws, regulations, and case laws, under appropriate attorney supervision and guidance.
- Assist with all aspects of discovery, including litigation holds, as well as assisting with document/information identification, collection, and production.
- Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders, including legal and business partners.
- Review, analyze, and summarize case-related documents and records.
- File management, intake of new matters, establish and manage electronic matter management systems, and maintain files in accordance with records retention requirements.
- Proactively identify, summarize, and monitor relevant issues, cases, and legislation, as well as updating attorney with recommendations, as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
