Requirements
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field
- Must have 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry
- Must have 5 years of experience in utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) software, including ESRI ArcGIS suit and ArcGIS Enterprise
- Must have 5 years of experience in managing data using ArcGIS Pro or Arc Spatial Database Engine (ArcSDE)
- Must have 5 years of experience in executing GIS software extensions, including ArcGIS Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst, ArcGIS Collector, and 3D Analyst
- Must have 5 years of experience in deploying relational databases, including PostgreSQL, to support GIS data storage and management
- Must have 5 years of experience in executing ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, REST, SOAP, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) with scripting in XML and JSON
- Must have 5 years of experience in applying GIS principles, theories, and best practices in line with ESRI and National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) standards
- Must have 5 years of experience in performing utility company functions, including Geometric Networks and Linear Referencing
- Must have 5 years of experience in utilizing GIS mapping applications for utility asset management to optimize asset tracking and maintenance
- Must have 5 years of experience in creating reports or exports using SQL using Oracle databases
- Must have 5 years of experience in handling large GIS datasets with varying formats and coordinates to ensure comprehensive data management
- Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
- Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing
- Maintain applications according to SLAs
- Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications
- Identify and assess complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors, and create solutions for implementation by the team
- Supervise a team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications
- Conduct project and issue management (including status reporting, issue reporting, and ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work, and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management
- Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.
