Requirements
- Required Master’s Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner
- 2-3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) – State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
- Required Master’s Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
- LIC-Physician Assistant – State of Michigan
- 2-3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) – NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Responsibilities
- Work in a dynamic team-based care environment with Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and Cardiothoracic Surgery to serve patients with all types of aortic pathology primarily in the ambulatory environment
- Grow to become a subject matter expert on aortic disease
- Participate in research while maintaining a shared vision for the program with our operational and physician leaders
