Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years of related work experience including prior call center experience with a customer service background
- High level of accuracy with data entry and strong attention to detail
- Must be available to work between the hours of 9:00pm CT to 6:00AM CT Monday – Friday and every other weekend
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong communication skills including ability to effectively communicate difficult news
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, communicate effectively, remain organized and work independently
- Good working knowledge of PC based computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inquiries/requests via phone, email, fax, and mail
- Perform pre-underwriting screening
- Verify coverage, evaluate submitted bills, and authorize payments
- Advise customers of billing policies and procedures and process policy changes
- Resolve customer inquiries and maintain customer relations
- Work assigned special projects
- Assist with helpdesk and mentoring/training of peer Customer Service Representatives
- Receive and record loss reports
- Provide up front assistance for processing claims

- Bilingual (English-Spanish) skill is a plus
