Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of related work experience including prior call center experience with a customer service background
  • High level of accuracy with data entry and strong attention to detail
  • Must be available to work between the hours of 9:00pm CT to 6:00AM CT Monday – Friday and every other weekend
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills including ability to effectively communicate difficult news
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, communicate effectively, remain organized and work independently
  • Good working knowledge of PC based computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inquiries/requests via phone, email, fax, and mail
  • Perform pre-underwriting screening
  • Verify coverage, evaluate submitted bills, and authorize payments
  • Advise customers of billing policies and procedures and process policy changes
  • Resolve customer inquiries and maintain customer relations
  • Work assigned special projects
  • Assist with helpdesk and mentoring/training of peer Customer Service Representatives
  • Receive and record loss reports
  • Provide up front assistance for processing claims

  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) skill is a plus
