Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, associate’s or technical degree preferred
- Preparation for state certification or licensing required, requirements may vary by state and locality, in lieu of existing certifications must be willing to complete required certifications within 60 days
- Must have at least one(1) year of sales or pest technician experience
- Must be an effective verbal communicator, with particular emphasis on customer facing conversations and presentation with additional follow-ups
- Must have a driving record with no motor vehicle violations within the last year
- Must successfully meet pre-employment background screen
- Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence and pass motor vehicle record search.

- Understand how to meet or exceed outlined success measures for lead generation, inspections, selling targets and close rates
- Gaining knowledge in the area of assessing customers’ needs by performing a needs analysis based on customer concerns using expert knowledge of the company’s products and services and certifications.
- Learn the 20 point inspection process to visually inspect homes and businesses for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc
- Learn how based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions for residential customers.
- Develop collaborative skills to interact with our customer service center, Inside Sales department, and technicians for increased opportunities
- Build strong communication skills to effectively partner with Area Manager & Branch Manager to identify revenue streams with our current base and service specialist engagement
- Understand how to develop proposals for customers to resolve existing pest issues while also proposing additional enhancements to pest household services.
- Effectively complete home diagram using Sales CRM and provided tools to ensure clear understanding of customer home and possible challenges.
- Develop and learn effective follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities
- Understand effectively how we perform different LOBs to ensure how to effectively provide details to customer
- Working understanding of completing daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM
- Constantly works on self-improvement and learning by analyzing personal performance, acting on feedback from performance evaluations and staying current on sales and industry techniques.
