Requirements
- Deep knowledge in the business processes, risks, and controls of a wholesale bank, including Global Corporate and Investment Banking, Transaction Banking/Securities, Fund Services, and Trust Banking
- Deep knowledge of operational risk management frameworks, programs, and processes
- Experience leading complex teams
- High degree of collaboration with risk peers, business unit risk and control officers, and line-of-business management
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of three directors and 20+ operational risk professionals
- Engages with the lines of business and entities on operational risk program content and buildout
- Serves as the second line of defense through independent testing, monitoring, and effective challenge
