Requirements

• Bachelors degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
• 5-7 years related experience required
• Strong collateral analysis skills
• Familiarity with a variety of more complex Real Estate
• Strong understanding of a wide variety of complex and unusual Real Estate arrangements
• In-depth understanding of liquidation strategies and techniques
• Strong negotiation skills
• Communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Managing, maintaining and selling other real estate owned (OREO) for the bank
• Providing direction toward the comprehensive and systematic management of OREO
• Managing all but the most complex OREO properties independently
• Developing and training OREO Asset Analysts
• Negotiating specific terms and conditions for more complex agreements
• Reviewing documents and finalizing OREO agreements
• Monitoring status of assigned OREO inventory
• Preparing extensive management reports summarizing OREO activity
• Explaining OREO process for properties
• Compiling necessary information to complete analysis
• Performing in-depth appraisal reviews
• Evaluating property information and preparing marketing and liquidation plan for the property
• Managing assigned properties independently
• Negotiating with prospective buyers of OREO properties
• Reviewing documents and finalizing the sale of OREO properties
• Resolving escalated issues and problems
• Participating in the development of unit operating policies and procedures
• Coordinating with other departments for in-depth analyses on liquidation of OREO properties
• Providing support to the Workout on foreclosure and possession of Real Estate
• Developing marketing and liquidation plans on OREO properties
• Minimizing expenses on the OREO properties

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred
