Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in managing / leading large and complex programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management position.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Previous experience ORAT program(s) is a must.
  • Ability to analyze and produce solutions to ORAT challenges in respective workstream.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder relationships and providing management level reporting to enable effective decision making.
  • Thorough understanding of the aviation industry and more specifically, a good understanding of wholistic airport operations is considered an asset.
  • ORAT experience in large international airport projects greater than CAD $500M is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Engages stakeholders and establishes their respective ORAT workstream and working groups.
  • Develops the respective Workstream plan in line with the ORAT program and in close collaboration with stakeholder SPOC’s.
  • Identifies dependencies, key status and review milestones in line with the ORAT countdown schedule.
  • Manages the resolution of all Workstream related issues, identifies and escalates any threats to the overall ORAT program to the ORAT Lead.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of staff.
  • Ensures that all stakeholder operational plans and processes have been developed, reviewed and meet the demand and performance objectives.
  • Manages and monitors the development of processes (operating procedures) across all operational stakeholders.
  • Validates space allocations and requirements, develops layouts, Room Data Sheets (RDS) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) related to each of the stakeholders’ spaces and ensures all the required Furniture, Fittings & Equipment (FF&E) is identified budgeted, procured and in place for operations.
  • Monitors the procurement & deployment plans for space readiness.
  • Facilitates space takeover with stakeholders and property management.
  • Ensures that service and maintenance provisions for all Systems are in place to support and sustain operations to agreed service levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of the aviation industry and more specifically, a good understanding of wholistic airport operations is considered an asset.
  • ORAT experience in large international airport projects greater than CAD $500M is an asset.
