Operations Tech

Strong mechanical aptitude and/or military background.
Team player that is flexible.
Must be a self-starter and willing to work alone.
High School Diploma/GED.
Degree in Process Technology is preferred.
Five years of operations experience in the industry is preferred.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Must be willing to work rotating shifts and weekends and take 24 hour on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.

Day to Day control and monitoring the processes to produce hydrogen, which includes operating and controlling the following: Furnaces, Compressors, DCS monitoring systems, Rotating Equipment, Catalyst Reactors, Water Treatment Systems (Boiler and Cooling Water Systems), operated manual Valves, and Pressure Swing Adsorption skid.
Troubleshoot, respond to operating conditions, respond to customer order rates, and process optimization.
Complete operator rounds, execute minor preventative maintenance, and support mechanical and instrumentation maintenance and projects.
Issue permit work in the field and monitor contract partners.
Participate in the basic safety process as a key member of the Site Safety committee and sharing responsibility for the site’s overall safety performance.
Interact with staff personnel to maintain operation of plant; assist in plant equipment mechanical repairs, instrument calibrations and electrical troubleshooting.
Follow Operating procedures.
Support other facilities in the area as required.
