Requirements
- Proven leadership / supervisory / management experience is required.
- Proven experience in areas of Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality Control
- Successful demonstration of technical and analytical abilities
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities
- Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team
- A working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
Responsibilities
- Supervises the day-to-day operations and develops, implements, and reviews operational policies and procedures.
- Assists their direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
- Accountable for supporting and driving assigned Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) for Millennium and RP Lighting
- Manage multiple areas with multiple priorities and multiple collaborators every day.
- Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies, and guidelines to the management team.
- Understand the overarching company strategy and communicate the organization’s core values to create a sense of collaboration and membership among employees.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Perform quality controls and supervise production important metrics.
- Find ways to increase the quality of customer service.
- Ensure warehouse operation is managed with efficiency and success.
- Oversight of inventory control in our warehouses
- Develop objectives, policies, and procedures for sales operations.
- Continuous Improvement of processes, systems, or products to enhance the performance of the job area leveraging IT.
- Consult managers of operations associates around activities concerning hiring, training/development, and evaluation of staff performance
- Supports sales forecasting, financial budgeting and expenditure management to achieve company budget objectives
- Participate in NPD business case review, help develop metrics for product performance and measurement
- Work with Procurement and Sourcing Teams to ensure inventory levels support sales initiatives
- Lead and collaborate among various team leaders to support product pipeline and sales strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and equivalent work experience will be considered.
