Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working on the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program
- 2+ years of experience in team or project leadership
- 3+ years of technical support experience
Responsibilities
- Manages employees operating the GMD Maintenance Manager (GMM) and GMD Human-Machine Interface (HMI) as well as performing customer support within the Alaska Operations Center (AOC).
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on the GMD missile field
- Experience working/living in remote military locations
- Engineering Degree
