Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field and five years of related experience, including two years in a supervisory capacity; or a high school diploma or GED and seven years of related experience, including two years in a supervisory capacity.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers to explain technical or complex concepts.
- Ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, and simple methods and/or make calculations to reconcile financial statements and accounts.
- Advanced computer skills for reference and/or retrieval tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all activities are performed with regard to safe operational policies and procedures to protect the employee, the system, and the public.
- Manages the safe and efficient administration of Construction/Maintenance, Service, Meter Reading, and strategic partnerships with various departments.
- Develop and monitor functional area budgets to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure proper administration of activities, including selecting, developing, training, motivating, and evaluating employees.
- Leads as a culture champion by promoting the company’s vision, strategy, and supporting wellness and safety initiatives.
- Recommends strategic plans to promote organizational efficiencies and provide for continuous improvement.
- Monitors and evaluates all activities within assigned jurisdiction to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Maintains and cultivates relationships with state and local officials to promote a positive company image.
