Requirements

Responsibilities
- Ability to lead large groups of people and focus on developing a culture of accountability working as a team.
- Strict adherence and compliance with quality assurance requirements.
- Work with internal and external Clayton staff to meet organizational requirements
- Be safety minded and ability to put Safety 1st – must adhere to strict safety rules and guidelines.
- Review production performance and drive training opportunities of production personnel, as necessary.
- Effectively communicate and lead Team to meet/maintain vision for success
- Direct teams effectively in each department to ensure timelines and production priorities are met.
- Provide sound leadership, coaching, mentoring, and direction for personnel development and team member engagement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within production processes to improve overall safety, quality, reduce lead-times, and lower cost.
- Monitors and measures costs of operations by using Lean Manufacturing methods, 5S, Kaizen, etc. applications where necessary.
- Track and communicate to the Team Members and Senior Leadership the KPIs daily as it pertains to production.
- Review the P&L statement and make operational changes leading to positive impacts on financials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business (preferred) or Operations Management or related field needed
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant leadership experience
- Previous experience within cabinet manufacturing; preferred
- Experience with ERP/Oracle is a plus
- Experience with Project Planning/Management, Capex and budgeting
- Working knowledge of P&L statements
- Experience with Quality Programs and Root Cause Analysis – i.e. ISO9001, 8D 5 Why
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing environment preferred
- Travel as required up to 25%
