Requirements
- 3 years of experience in property management required.
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
- Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
- Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Check APM Resident Care Line and distribute messages daily.
- Book location for quarterly APM Meetings 3-4 months out, create RFPs, reserve hotel & meeting space, plan banquet set-up and menus, plan team-building activity, reserve off-site dining, and book all travel.
- Work closely with area and regional managers.
- Assist supervisor and APM with assigned projects.
- Review daily reports for accuracy: Occupancy, Craigslist posts, meetings, site walk, team photo, T Drive uploads.
- Communicate discrepancies if found.
- Prepare Weekly Operations Report, delinquency audits, turnboards, availability, and renewal report audits.
- Collect and distribute Area Manager Reports.
- Audit occupancy vs. daily reports and signed Employee Calendars.
- Review leasing bonuses before coversheets are completed.
- Update property and AM calendars.
- Conduct Preliminary Month-End Audits/Review.
- Review monthly financial statements.
- Compile workbooks and reports for quarterly bonuses.
- Monitor social platforms (BBB, Yelp, Google, Facebook, IG) and handle resident complaints.
- Plan virtual events, holiday parties, theme days; send reminders and encourage engagement.
- Post weekly and monitor property events online. For lease-up properties: Post daily until 75% occupancy, then post weekly.
- Assist ACG/APM with corporate events and activities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a corporate office environment highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
