Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years experience designing, commissioning, troubleshooting current electrical systems, computer vision, machine learning or material handling system architecture.
- Ability to drive innovation by incorporating the latest advances in deep learning or machine vision technology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge in theory and practice of computer vision, machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Hands-on experience with building, training, evaluating, and deploying material handling based vision models, or related methods
- Familiarity in Linux, Go, Python and one of the deep learning toolkits or machine vision imaging software’s.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with partner teams.
- Familiarity with modern camera ISP and digital image processing algorithms and models

- Broad technical knowledge spanning a wide range of application areas alongside computer vision such as designing and wiring control systems, PLC’s, motion control, robotics, vision systems, and using electrical test instrumentation.

Responsibilities
- Leads projects designing and developing architecture solutions to business problems that meet user requirements.
- Work diligently with vendors to onboard new technological solutions to broaden the business footprint on machine vision and learning.
- Applies knowledge of emerging technology trends and best practices to show the potential business application of technology improvements.
- Is an expert in DWS.
- Exceeds customers’ expectations by listening for unexpressed needs; connects customer needs to relevant service offerings and new technology.
- Leads others in resolving technical issues in a timely manner; follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Partners with the business to integrate new technologies into business solutions; creates and communicates a vision of the technology requirements for the future state of the business.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical technology, Computer Science or Machine Vision Engineering.
- 5+ years experience designing, commissioning, troubleshooting current electrical systems, computer vision, machine learning or material handling system architecture.
- Knowledge in theory and practice of computer vision, machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Experience performing proof of concept testing to define imaging requirements for consumer devices.
- Hands-on experience with building, training, evaluating, and deploying material handling based vision models, or related methods.
- Broad technical knowledge spanning a wide range of application areas alongside computer vision such as designing and wiring control systems, PLC’s, motion control, robotics, vision systems, and using electrical test instrumentation.
- Strong programming skills in Linux, Go, Python and/or C++ and one of the deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch, JAX, or Tensorflow.
- Excellent writing, communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization with respect to balancing R&D needs with project timelines, working independently both onsite as part of a team and remotely.
