Requirements

  • Several years’ experience relating to operational resiliency.
  • Experience identifying and managing resiliency vulnerabilities through structured risk and issue management frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of resiliency management practices including cyber security and how they apply in Financial Services organizations including the impact of regulation on operational resiliency matters.
  • Proven track record in presenting to senior management with excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and related tools including Power BI.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

  • Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the operational resilience framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal policies and standards.
  • Facilitate identification and mapping of important business services, including dependencies on people, technology, facilities, third parties, and data.
  • Identify and assess resilience vulnerabilities through data analysis, incident reviews, risk assessments, and business input.
  • Maintain a resilience vulnerability register; ensure issues are assessed for impact, assigned for action, and managed through to resolution.
  • Partner with risk and compliance teams to ensure resilience vulnerabilities are managed via formal issue and risk treatment processes.
  • Monitor and report on the status of resilience-related risks, issues, and remediations to governance forums.
  • Support the integration of resilience disciplines (business continuity, IT disaster recovery, third-party risk, crisis management).
  • Promote awareness and engagement in resilience practices across the business through training and collaboration.
