Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Design or related field is required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate environment
- Strong knowledge and experience in Workplace and/or Retail Design, industry trends, standards and best practices
- Ability to multi-task many projects, communications, and deliverables
- Clear understanding of spatial relationships and workplace guidelines and standards
- Basic understanding of building codes
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and design for renovation, refresh, and new build projects
- Translate business requirements into physical premises
- Work with third-party designers and architects to design facilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering meetings and review/approval presentations
- Create feasibility studies, scenario models, and test fits
- Ensure planning is aligned with client’s retail guidelines
- Work alongside the Project Manager providing design oversight of architect/designer for finalized floorplans and design elements
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level
- Experience with interior office renovations is highly desirable
- LEED Accreditation Professional and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired, but not required
