Requirements
- Graduate of an approved and accredited Ultrasound program
- 3-5 years of experience in US preferred
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or ARDMS registered, or registry eligible/obtained within one year of hire
- CPR certification required
Responsibilities
- Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body’s organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes
- Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data
- Records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed
- Reviews physician requisition orders and instructions concerning patient preparation for ultrasound procedure
- May communicate to OB/GYN nursing team status of patient condition pre and post procedure
- Performs ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for patients with high-risk indications
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in US preferred
- Position may require some overtime, on call responsibilities, and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously
