Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 years of experience in a related field
- RN License (AR or Compact State) – Arkansas State Board of Nursing (ASBN)
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic initiatives, programs, and processes for engaging and retaining diverse nursing & patient care talent.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with external community partners.
- Establishes and maintains robust reporting models to track retention and engagement metrics, root cause analysis and trends.
- Participates in Shared Governance Council and actively participates on project teams.
- Participates in developing and implementing nursing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives to foster continued engagement, productivity, success, and retention.
- Others duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Certification specific to patient population, leadership role or education-required for Nursing Retention Specialist role
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)- Required for Quality role – National Association for Health Quality (NAHQ)
