Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years of experience in a related field
  • RN License (AR or Compact State) – Arkansas State Board of Nursing (ASBN)

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategic initiatives, programs, and processes for engaging and retaining diverse nursing & patient care talent.
  • Establishes and maintains positive relationships with external community partners.
  • Establishes and maintains robust reporting models to track retention and engagement metrics, root cause analysis and trends.
  • Participates in Shared Governance Council and actively participates on project teams.
  • Participates in developing and implementing nursing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives to foster continued engagement, productivity, success, and retention.
  • Others duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree
  • Certification specific to patient population, leadership role or education-required for Nursing Retention Specialist role
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)- Required for Quality role – National Association for Health Quality (NAHQ)
